Description Native to: Ecuador Philodendron werneri ‘Rotonda’ is a small vining species that does very well in the vivarium. It stays small with leaves reaching less than two inches long. The newer foliage has a beautiful blueish/silvery sheen with a peach underside. It’s easy to root in vivarium conditions and grows slowly but not so slowly as Philodendron sp. ‘Condor’. Overall this easy-going Philodendron is a great addition to vivaria of any size. To get a cutting started, keep the node(s) in contact with damp substrate like sphagnum moss, without covering the entire stem. It will root well into substrates like ABG or potting mix, but we recommend using sphagnum moss along with it to keep the plant from drying out.
