Blushing Blooms, as with all of Kaye Englands groups, is inspired by fabrics from the past though its colored for todays aesthetic in ivory, taupe, and shades of vintage red from dusty pink to deep maroon. This quilt features a sampler-style layout with on-point 12 blocks, pieced 3-wide sashing and cornerstones, and pieced setting triangles with simple outer borders that can easily be enlarged or added to. The queen quilt is 93 square with a side drop of about 16.NOTE: THIS IS THE KIT VERSION OF THIS QUILT AND NOT THE BLOCK OF THE MONTH!The kit contains a color copy of the Blushing Blooms pattern/instructions by Wilmington Prints along with enough fabric to complete the Queen Size Quilt top as shown in picture 1. This kit contains all fabrics required for the top of the quilt and edge binding. Backing and batting will need to be purchased separately.The overall finished size of this quilt is 93 x 93.There are no substituted fabrics! Picture 2 shows all the fabrics included in this kit, pictures 3 thru 9 show some of the fabrics in larger pictures and picture 10 shows the coordinating pillow sham kit available under SKU AAFQK-1158 while supplies last.8-5/8 yards is recommended for backing fabric assuming a standard 44/45 width or 3 yards if using a 108 backing fabric. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or for pattern design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.Over 18-2/3 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern.
