These binders do a good enough job of actually holding your files, but are a disaster if you’re trying to archive anything that isn’t very regular in shape (like papers that are stapled or bills in different sizes). I’ve been using them for a few years now and I’d switch to another product if there was an alternative. The plastic ‘binder spine’ pieces are extremely difficult to use, and I recently cut my finger on one of them trying to slide out the hooks (which is their intended use).The product is supposed to be able to hold up to six inches of paper, but when I’ve tried and hung them in our filing cabinets, the hooks break and it’s a mess. There’s no efficient way to store them without hanging them, because they don’t stand on their sides or stack cleanly. I have never in my life hated something more than I hate these awful binders but I keep buying them because they’re all there is.Four stars because there’s literally nothing better out there but if there was I wouldn’t be wasting my time.
