Works well for a basic temporary enclosure, BUT don’t leave your animals in it unattended. I use this enclosure and fabric top as a playpen for my young chickens and turkeys. I currently have 2 young turkeys, 2 young standard sized pullets and two young bantam chickens. They are not able to escape from the pen, and the fabric cover is mainly for deterring aerial predators. I have been using fabric cover for about 5 years, and I just bought a replacement. I also bought some nylon stretch cord so I can replace the cheap plastic cord the cover comes with. Considering the price and minimal maintenance, I have very few complaints… this little exercise pen suits my needs well. However, I don’t use it for dogs or burrowing animals like rabbits… if I did, some reinforcements would likely be necessary.
