I initially ordered the Emerald Pet wholly egg cat treats because they are made in the US and they seemed like a better option than the store bought treats I’ve been giving out. I have a multi-cat household with varying tastes so usually base a review on whether the majority like the taste of an item. These cat treats were not a hit with all of my cats but those that ate them really liked them. It could be the salmon in the variety I ordered. These treats are slightly soft so they may be easy for cats to eat that have dental issues. These treats do have a lot of ingredients and I was concerned about one until I read what it was for. The fructooligosaccharides listed are a non-digestible sugar which are used as a food source for the beneficial bacteria in your cat’s gut. The addition of this ingredient makes sense since these treats are supposed to help the digestion. I will note that one of the side effects of this ingredient can be gas or diarrhea. I will definitely use these in moderation-no matter how badly my cats want more of them. I would order these again though and find the price fair.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item.
